Maia von Malaisé – HEad of Operations
Maia joined Wild Search in 2024 after graduating with a first-class BA in Theology from the University of Cambridge. Alongside her studies, she worked as producer for Theatreship, a non-profit floating arts centre, organising the film-programme for the inaugural BFI Powell and Pressburger festival. She also worked for Watersprite, the largest student film festival in the world, coordinating judging for 1000+ films and collating industry juries. She has interned for the publishing house, Thames and Hudson, and music production company, BMG. For four years, she has worked as a tutor and developmental exercise instructor for children of all ages.
At Cambridge, she wrote, directed and performed in over 25 productions, including for the Footlights. She earned colours in university netball, achieved blades in rowing and was elected as a Bell-Wade scholar at Gonville and Caius College. She also wrote for ‘The Cambridge Student’ newspaper.
She manages all areas of operations, the coordination of events and preparation of proposals, alongside assisting in assignment based research. She ensures clear communication between clients and candidates to ensure excellence in the search process from start to finish.
Maia grew up in London and is half-German. She enjoys the outdoors, skiing, hiking and running.
