Chief Operating Officer - South Westminster Alliance

The South Westminster Alliance comprises four Business Improvement Districts (BIDs): Whitehall, Northbank, Victoria and Victoria Westminster, all within the City of Westminster. They are all managed by Primera following successful ballots of the levy payers within each BID. Primera is led by its Managing Director Ruth Duston OBE. Each BID works across four core areas: Public Realm and Environment; Community Safety and Business Resilience; Corporate Community and Engagement and Marketed; and Promoted and Strategic Vision. Each BID has its own board, comprising of business leaders and is managed by a team with some core functions shared across the group.

This appointment will be part of the senior management team supporting the Managing Director in delivering and further developing the vision and strategic priorities of each BID within the Alliance and delivering against those identified in the five-year business plan.

This is a newly created role and will combine managing of each BID’s operations, managing the teams and ensuring the smooth management of systems and process to support the BIDS as they deliver for their levy payers.

The contract will be for and initial period of 18-24 months with the possibility of extension.
