Oxford International announces new Higher Education Advisory Board

Working with industry leaders and experts in the education sector, the new board of advisors will support the organisation’s strategic plan to achieve exponential growth and development in the global education market.

The HE Advisory Board will be chaired by Oxford International co-founder David Brown and comprise of the following advisory members: Rt Hon Chris Skidmore MP; Baroness Smith of Newnham; David Pilsbury, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, International at Coventry University; Simon Emmett, CEO of IDP Connect; Jeffrey Williams, CEO and Co-founder of Enroly.

Lil Bremermann-Richard, Group Chief Executive Officer at Oxford International Education Group, said, ‘The process of putting this Advisory Board together, has been a twelve month journey. The support received from Edward Wild, with the thought process and identifying the individuals was invaluable. We believe we have a great team in this advisory board and look forward to the very insightful and thought provoking discussion.’

Wild Search Managing Director Edward Wild, who advised Oxford International Education Group on this project and the appointment of Chris Skidmore and Julie Smith commented:

This panel discussion will address the transformation of global education provision since the pandemic. There have been steep learning curves and it is important to digest these and consider how the landscape might evolve going forward. Discussions will include the extent to which, and in what ways, the move to online and blended learning since the pandemic will lead to permanent change and whether this is now the only way forward for education providers, as well as the challenges and potential pitfalls of this direction of travel. The debate will also explore the role that innovative technology solutions can play to meet the current challenges facing the sector, and to explore new opportunities for technology to deliver an enhanced learning experience.
